This is the time of year many of us reconnect with friends and family who we may have not seen since last year. Some of us may even feel a sense of uneasiness when it comes to being with family or friends we have not seen in awhile. Lets face it that is probably why we have not stayed connected with them over the past year, But, I am sure many of us are elated to reconnect with family and friends . That is how many feel about Host Homes (the elated feeling not the uneasy feeling). Many who are in Host Homes can’t wait to get together each week. They enjoy the fellowship and their growth in their walk with Christ When a Host Home goes on break some of those members become almost heartbroken. I know in our own Host Home, the people who attend are not just friends they have become family. When we don’t get together I miss it. If you not part of a Host Home you should come and check one out.

During this Holiday Season while your running around trying to find that perfect gift. I hope you take the time to sit back and remember what we are celebrating. It is not about the presents , the decorations or a big dinner. It is about the birth of our Lord and Savoir Jesus Christ. Also remember the name of the season is not Xmas it is CHRISTmas.
