A Christian Church

Over 100 years ago, several Christian leaders and teachers grew tired of the divisions and difficulties that seemed to plague the church.  As they learned and grew in their walk with God, they realized that these divisions were not a part of the church in New Testament times.  In fact, Jesus prayed that they would never happen at all!

With nothing but the Bible as their guide, they shed the church backgrounds from which they came and resolved to become the followers God intended for all of us.  Reading what the Bible called followers of Christ, they decided that no “denominational” name would be applied to them.  They would be simply be called, “Christians.”

This simple start began a movement that grew quickly.  Today, over 1.3 Million people live out their walk with God in Christian churches that have no “denomination” attached to it.  It is one of the fastest growing faith groups being counted today.
